And I won...
I just won my first item off of ebay, I know I am way behind, but you would have thought the way I was acting that I won the lottery but then I realized I have to pay for the item - they aren’t paying me to buy the item. But it still made my day and I see how people get addicted to ebay…the bidding thrill!

A man tonight in the bar drew our picture for $10…if only my camera was working…the pics are so cute…tomorrow I will get frames for the pictures to put in my new house…and then I will take pictures of the pictures just for you.
On another note….CSI just about made me vom in my mouth but now it is time for The Mentalist and yummy Simon Baker.
Finally...
I put some sweat equity into the house….with the help of a friend and her Mom, we painted stripes in the downstairs bathroom. The result was not only beautiful but gratifying. Before today the only thing going into the house was money and lots of it. I would have taken pics to show off my hard work but my camera is broken…just my luck.
Confession of the day: Tomorrow we close on our very first house and I haven’t learned a thing about the house buying process.
Cruel Punishment
My workplace shares a parking lot with a college football stadium…which means it is complete punishment when said college has a Thursday night game and people begin tailgating during your lunch hour. So…maybe I am a tad bit jealous!

What's today?
I woke up this morning without a clue of what day of the week it was. The only logical way for me to figure it out was to remember how many outfits I had worn this week, that is how I now know that today is Thursday! Happy almost Friday!
MIA
Should be my initials…I have been missing tumblr since returning from the beach. Work got very busy very fast, I hurt my foot at the beach (there may have been beer involved) and a not so great house inspection. And that is the condensed version of my past week.
I will return…it may be a few more days but I plan on overwhelming your dashboard…just give it time!
BEACH BOUND
Although it will probably rain the whole weekend, it will be nice and relaxing to get away for the weekend with good friends!
We are still on the verge of being homeowners. The price is agreed upon but there are a few other details being worked out. However, we are still hanging on the side of a cliff because the seller has said he will not repair anything. So everything is hanging on the inspection which is next week….I am so excited and nervous. There are so many what-ifs….but I keep reminding myself if...
Hubs and I are only an inspection away from being homeowners. We found a fixer upper that we can see the potential and can’t wait to get started on making it our home. But for now, we are off to the beach for a long weekend.

Today is my Friday!
I love short weeks and today is my Friday, which makes today all that much better.
